Oil Ranch

In November we went to the Oil Ranch off of 2920. HP was hosting the event so we went with the rest of the family. It was a ton of fun. They had animals, hay rides, sack races, a train, rock climbing and a treasure hunt. Ashton cleaned up in the treasure hunt in the hay and found at least ten rubber duckies. His favorite part of the day was the train ride around the ranch, we saw a few donkeys, pigs, cows and bulls. The hay ride was a little odd. They gave us cow food before we left and drove us to an open pasture where we were swarmed by humongous cows fighting for our food. Not only do they smell but they have some nasty slobbery tongues, needless to say Ashton skipped the cow feeding portion of the day.

Halloween

Ashton was a turtle for Halloween this year. Eventually he got used to his costume, but it was hard at first. Grandma was there to see Ashtons mad trick or treating skills. Jazmin joined us also, she got tired and needed to ride with Ashton in the wagon. After strolling around our neighborhood in his new wagon we met up with aunt Amy and the Parkers. Ashtons favorite treat was the baseball hacky sack.
