Ashton's REAL Birthday

On Ashton's REAL birthday (10/20), Mommy made him had scrambled eggs for breakfast, Aunt Amy and his cousins gave him a cupcake (and all the neighborhood kids sang him happy birthday), and then we topped off the day by going to McDonald's for dinner. Ashton absolutely LOVED every part of it. He scarfed down the cheeseburger and fries, and then was ready to play on the playground. He was so happy! Mommy and Daddy of course had to get a picture of Ash in front of the Golden Arches so we could remember this great night. Ashton also opened his presents from mommy and daddy that night. He got a new slide to play with outside, and he has been making great use out of it. Another highlight of Ashton's birthday was that we moved his car seat, and he is now FORWARD facing! I can't believe how quickly he has grown up. If the next 50 years are as good as this first one, I've got so much to look forward to. I love you Ash!
