Hurricane IKE

Hurricane IKE came through and created havoc for everyone, some worse than others. We were very fortunate to only have some minor roof damage and a broken outside fan. My brother Brian was not so lucky. A tree branch fell through his roof and created quite a bit of damage. The ceiling caved in right over Olivia's crib, but thank God she was not sleeping there. We are so glad the Spencer family is all ok. The night before the hurricane our friends Nathan and Kate came over. Their son Hunter and Ashton really enjoy playing together. I am so glad they came over and took my mind off of the Hurricane. I was a nervous and emotional wreck thinking about what was about to happen. Luckily it wasn't as bad as it could've been. My heart goes out to all of those people who lost their houses and loved ones in the storm. I hope I never see a hurricane here in Houston again.
